34 hours off
well here we sit in Granger Washington. we have worked 70 hours and now its time for 34 off. i wish time off really meant time away from the truck. but same 4 walls, just different view out the window. i did get to do laundry. yeah. and this place does have a shower so all in all life is good.
just before we accepted this load we were sent a round trip load from Fresno,California to Massachusetts ~~Massachusetts to Redmond Washington. we really thought about it even though it was out of our traveling zone. the money was good and it guaranteed we wouldnt be waiting back east for a return reload. but in the end we decided we didnt have enough hours on the books to make the dead line. but if they offered us that load monday i think we would take it.
then tell them no more, it's out of our zone. to do it once before the weather gets bad and the trees are just starting to change, what a site to see, hated to miss that.
i did get two ponchos made for the girls.and i finished my book, confessions of an ugly step sister. so now i need a new project or another book.
