salt lake city

   Aug 28, 2009
      phoenix to salt lake city

leaving phoenix .........  finally....... the temperature is just unreal.

we are picking up empty 2 liter bottles destine for salt lake city, utah. and in case anyone was wondering, a truck load of 2 liter bottles is 28,224 bottles.  they are going to coca-cola.  i wish it was going to pepsi.  i want to speak to someone about the availability of diet pepsi vanilla~~rather the lack of availability.

some pictures of the saguaro cactus.  did you know they mainly grow in the deserts of arizona. also found in the deserts of southern california, and the state of sonora mexico.  the arms begin to grow after the cactus reaches a height of 15 feet, and at least 75 years old. they live to be around 200 years old, can have up to 50 arms and reach a height of 50 feet.  the holes are made by the gila woodpecker bird, looking for insects and water.  they can hold up to a ton of water.

also got some top secret pictures of inside the coke plant. very hush, hush, dont tell anyone.   one way coke is trying to sabotage pepsi, is by stealing their pallets.  its hard to read but among all the pallets marked property of coca cola enterprise, denver, or property of 7 up reno, there was one pallet that was marked property of pepsi-co. (probably  should have cases of diet pepsi vanilla)

also adding some interesting road signs. utah has a section of highway that is 80 mph. couldnt get that picture, but got the sign that says reduce speed ahead, yeah to 75mph.
so now we sit in salt lake city, again.  at least the weather is better than last time, and a damn site better than phoenix.
      love and miss you all
