Merry Christmas
guess what,
we are on our way back down from kent, to
fresno. picking up at fedex at 4am. our driver manager tells us she really appreciates us and we are doing a good job ~yadda~yadda~yadda. i really think that is the company line to tell disgruntled drivers. 'just stroke their ego...'
any way she did say this fedex account is very important to swift. and that there are very few regular drivers on the fedex runs. most of the drivers are ones who just happen to be in fresno. we only saw 2 owner ops last time in fedex. we figured they all pulled out of fedex when the weather go bad over siskiyous, but not that weather is worse in the midwest and east coast they are back because they need the miles. will is kind of hoping that our loyalty to fedex runs will pay off this summer when the owner ops want to be up here because its to hot down south. im not going to hold my breath.
we are planning to be home for Christmas. 2 days anyway. again not long enough. especially for this time of year. after the first we are going to tell our driver manager that we would like to get back on the home every 2 weeks for 1 days plan, home once a month was just so we could get bills caught up. but since the bills keep coming anyway, i should get home more often, i need nanna time.
...DESPERATEly NEED MOMMY AND GRANDMA TIME.........................
this Christmas is going to seem strange. almost as strange as thanksgiving. i did no cooking, not a single pie or cinnamon walnut, nothing. this Christmas, i only made a few gifts. i did not have a project that i worked on so everyone would get hand made gifts. i do have tons of jelly and canned apples left from last year. but we are low on tuna fish. im very Grinchie with the fresh canned tuna fish. you have to be very deserving .
im hopeful one of the girls will buy what i need to cook Christmas dinner and have it all there for me. i miss cooking. i hope i have time to make cookies for santa (hint, hint, wink, wink)
this might be the last entry before Christmas so to everyone.......
