just when you thought it was safe for me to drive up and down i5.

Well mostly we drive i5. For our south bound load, we pick up in seatac, then stop in pdx then continue to lax (hawthorne). North bound, we pick up at lax stop at hayward airport, (they call it san franciso) stop again at pdx then our finale destination is seatac again. 

        the blue angels in seattle. the only other 2 words that make my heart skip a beat is 'fleet week'

Our driving schedule it pretty laid out. South bound, Will picks up in seattle drives pdx then to redding, california. Then i drive from redding to lax. North bound, will drives from lax to hayward. I drive from hayward to salem, will drives to pdx, then to seattle.

Will thinks the way i remember how to get to lax is too confusing. I'm on i5 to the 405, exit 45, exit 5. i wrote it down for him but he said remembering the names of the freeway is easier. I5, 405, (cross off the zero,) exit 45, (cross off the 4) exit 5. easy, peasy. The route from hayward to I5 is just as easy to remember. 880, 80, 505, I5.

I did the route a few times then decided i can turn off the gps. I dont need no stinkin gps, i know where im going, this is so easy.......oh look a balloon.

While on the 80 i saw a bunch of hot air balloons. I was taking pictures thinking this was pretty. When i was done i put the camera down and after driving a while (really folks it was only about 25 miles, hardly story worthy) i noticed the road was still 4 lanes. Usually by this time im on 2 lanes. With corn and sun flower feilds on both sides. Ok , i know the drill, turn on the gps, take the next exit, cross over, return to the scean of the crime. The whole adventure cost about 50 miles and close to an hour. So i didnt make it to salem to change drivers, we changed in albany.

Really i dont know why im telling you this. Maybe because i didnt have anything else to write about.

I do get to run into a friend of mine, that i knew when i had a normal job. Her and her husband drive for another company, and their route is mira mar to portland. I did run into her at walmart last time we were home, (its a small world) We are usually north when they are south. She'll call me to say she just passed me and that there is a fire up ahead but its on her side so not to worry.

       just a fire, no worries, no reason for anyone to stop

Its kind of nice knowing someone else let their husband talk them into this too. but baby, we'll get caught up on all the bills and even get ahead!!! we can retire with something!!! it wont be forever, i promise!! i asked her once how much longer she planned on doing this and she said everytime they pay off a bill another one pops up. , said yea us too. But we , and when i say we i mean, ME!! I!!! MYSELF!!!! want this to be over when our lease is over. 19 months and counting. 

Well i make that statement while we are sitting in hotel in fontana because our north bound load doesnt pickup till tonight at midnight. And since our air conditioner isnt working 100%, will cant sit in that truck all day. Although i doesnt matter that i sit in the hot truck all day while will is sleeping, the sleeper air conditioner works fine.
